The
Centre's revised Rules for Conciliation/Mediation incorporate many
of the provisions of the UNCITRAL
Conciliation Rules. The Rules for Conciliation of the Kuala Lumpur
Regional Centre for Arbitration provide guidelines for proper
conciliation or mediation which must be adhered to by all Parties
concerned. They may be used in both domestic and international cases
where parties opt to conciliate either preliminary to arbitration,
in lieu of arbitration, or in the course of arbitration.
Before beginning any steps toward conciliation, parties are advised
to understand this Rule:
